Welcome to Ernehale Infant School. We hope you will enjoy using our website and that it will help you to discover more about our school community, the great learning that takes place and the high expectations we have of our children and of each other.
As we all know, the experiences a child has during the first years of their life have such an impact on the kind of person they will develop into and become in the future. Such a lot of this important time is spent at school so it is essential that we work in partnership with parents so that we can make a positive difference and create a strong foundation that can be built upon as children continue to grow, develop and flourish.
Our aim is to create an inclusive ethos where every child is included and valued. One in which they feel safe, secure and happy; a positive learning environment where children can become learners for life because they are motivated and stimulated and we encourage a genuine curiosity and thirst for knowledge. We aim to provide an ethos of care and respect for every child and every member of staff. We do this by encouraging pupils and staff to work respectfully and collaboratively together.
Through the 4R’s of Ernehale: Respect, Resilience, Risk Taking and Responsibility, we want to encourage our pupils to become independent and confident life-long learners, who have empathy towards one another and are prepared to take risks in their learning.
Visitors often comment on the warm, friendly and calm atmosphere here at Ernehale Infants. If you would like to come and meet us to see this for yourselves, please feel free to make an appointment to visit us – you will be made most welcome.
