At Ernehale Infants, we put children and their ideas at the heart of our school. This gives the children the opportunity to express their views on how to make our school better.
Those who are elected in our School Council, feel a sense of pride and responsibility voicing their thoughts and those of their friends. It also allows the pupils to contribute towards their life at Ernehale and create more positive experiences and memories.
Each half-term, the school councillors will meet with Mrs Reid to discuss important areas for our school and how they can be improved. The children then listen to the ideas within their classes and report back their views and become a part of making future decisions for the school.
School Council has been temporarily suspended due to Covid -19 until children can cross their 'Bubbles'
However, some members of School Council & Pupil Parliament have been able to meet to discuss a possible donation from a charity, and how they would like to spend the money should we be successful. Their ideas have been submitted. We should hear in February....Watch this space!
