School Council & Pupil Parliament

At Ernehale Infants, we put children and their ideas at the heart of our school.  This gives the children the opportunity to express their views on how to make our school better.

Those who are elected in our School Council, feel a sense of pride and responsibility voicing their thoughts and those of their friends.  It also allows the pupils to contribute towards their life at Ernehale and create more positive experiences and memories.

Each half-term, the school councillors will meet with Mrs Siddons to discuss important areas for our school and how they can be improved.  The children then listen to the ideas within their classes and report back their views and become a part of making future decisions for the school.  These are the areas that will be discussed this year:

Autumn 1 - Playtimes

Autumn 2 - Keeping Safe

Spring 1- Lunchtimes

Spring 2 Literacy & Reading

Summer 1 - British Values

Summer 2- Mathematics

We are looking forward to electing our new school councillors soon. Watch this space!
