At Ernehale Infants we believe that Pupil Voice is a huge part of what makes our school so great. Each day, we find opportunities to listen to the views of our children and involve them in decision making processes.
The impact of Pupil Voice is everywhere — be it in class, influencing the direction of their topic learning or as a member of School Council, advocating on behalf of children in their class.
Pupil Voice plays a prominent part in school life and through it we allow our children to engage as active participants in their education, and in making a positive contribution to their school and local community.
Each half–term, pupils reflect on areas of our school, and we use this feedback to inform and improve what we do in the future. The school councillors meet with Mrs Johnson to pass on their class’s views on the following areas:
Autumn 1 – Playtimes
Autumn 2 – Reading and Writing
Spring 1 – Lunchtimes
Spring 2 – Keeping Safe
Summer 1 – British Values
Summer 2 – Mathematics
